Nesting Place, Simplicity Parenting, Crazy Busy: Book Reviews

Thanks to the book The Nesting Place by Myquillyn Smith, I’ve poured more effort and love into our home in the past month than I did in the past two-and-a-half years. I picked up the Kindle version of this book months ago, after hearing a friend mention it. I began reading it in the fall, however I put it aside as the final stages of publishing my own book consumed me. (If you’re debating between the Kindle version and the hardback copy of The Nesting Place, I would say go for the hardback because the pictures are inspiring!)

After my book was released and my stress levels returned to normal (it is HARD work writing, editing, and publishing a book), I began to read The Nesting Place again. You see, I’m a 35-year-old apartment dweller, which is not what I would have dreamed of in my younger years. I lived in various types of apartments as a single woman, then in our early years of marriage Mike and I lived in an apartment complex.
